The event

The inaugural Marathon Walk along the River Thames is designed to give participants a chance to enjoy the wonderful nature around the River, while putting them in “the shoes” of street children around the world and raising funds to help them.

The route will depart from iconic Windsor, before following the river upstream to Bourne End. From there, the route will take participants back along the river to Windsor. The route is flat and easy on the feet, with food and beverages provided at regular intervals.

By taking part on behalf of Link Ethiopia, you will help us to continue our work in changing lives through education. With the money you raise you will help to improve schools, empower teachers and ensure that all children can get a good education.

We will also support you with any help or resources you might need, to get you on the right foot with fundraising. Please fill out the contact form on this page if you have any questions.
