£600 needed to furnish classrooms at Abiyot Fray!
The Abiyot Elementary School has a reasonable number of classrooms on its site to cope with the number of pupils who attend. But what they do not have is sufficient furniture to use inside these classrooms. In many classrooms the children frequently have to squash together in a way that makes writing very difficult indeed. In other classrooms the children sit on branches of wood that are nailed to uprights, rather like crude wooden benches, but with no desks to write on. The provision of furniture is a real priority for them now.
St. Peter’s challenged to furnish a classroom!
St. Peter’s Primary School have taken on the challenge of raising £600 towards the provision of furniture at Abiyot Fray School. We wish them luck!
