Finally costs for the new Toilet Block at Angereb Secondary School have arrived in our office. The grand total is 37,050 birr.
Fundraising completed
Backwell School has raised £3,000! Congratulations to their stunning efforts. The money is enough to start the refurbishing of the old toilets, which will cost £1,300. From the rest of the funds staff toilets and a reconnected water supply are planned.
Works starts
The work on refurbishing the old toilet blocks at Angereb Secondary School has started.

Backwell School has raised the missing amount to fund both projects. Thanks to their great efforts.
Cost for the extended project
Costs for the new showers and staff toilets have arrived. The £2,300 estimate is cheaper than expected thanks to the improved exchange rates.
Project update
There have been great developments: ceramic toilet seats have been laid and the area around each toilet hole has been ceramic tiled in both blocks. The girls’ toilet block has been painted inside and outside while the boys’ is currently having the same work done on it. The next step will be to fix of the water facilities.
