The event

The Potters ‘Arf Marathon is back for its 31st race. This half marathon originally started out as a full 26-mile run in 1982, and was known for having ‘one of the best finishes in the world’.

By taking part on behalf of Link Ethiopia, you will help us to continue our work in changing lives through education. With the money you raise we will continue to run projects that improve schools, empower teachers and ensure that all children can get a great education.

How much does it cost to take part?

Please note that entries can only be made in advance. The prices are as follows: £23.50 (affiliated)/ £25.50 (unaffiliated) for normal entries. For the relay, the cost will be £34.50 and for walkers, the cost will be £20.50.

What support will I receive?

Included will be a medal and ceramic plate as a reward! Plus, you will be provided with a chip timer and a T-Shirt.
Run for Link Ethiopia and we will be on hand to give you the advice and information you need to achieve your fundraising goals. You will also get a spot in our hall of fame!

When and where does the event take place?

Potters ‘Arf marathon will take place on Sunday 14th June 2015, in Stoke-On-Trent, and will start from the Hanley Building Society, Lamb Street, Stoke-On-Trent, ST11PF.

What is the course like?

This course is undulating and will pass through mixture of rural and town settings. Please click here to see a route map.

How much should I fundraise?

As entry into the race is self-funded, there is no fundraising minimum set. Raise as much as you can and every penny will go towards out projects in Ethiopia.
