Project proposal
Project proposal of £1,200 given to Backwell School to fund an internet connection. This will cover running costs for a year, laser and inkjet printers, computer software and training for 4 people at Angereb Secondary School’s computer centre.

Project costs
We have had the detailed costs for the project – a sub-total of 16,660 birr including internet connection, network cables and setup, printers and training.
Training participants
Two students and two staff have been selected to undertake the computer training.
Training
Two Grade 11 pupils and the school’s IT teacher are due to start training. The courses they will take include training on general computer skills, using the operating system, word processing, using spreadsheets and databases, desktop publishing, making presentations and using internet and email.
Training started
Computer training for two staff members and two students has started. The participants are all excited to learn these new skills.
Internet installed
The internet connection has been installed.
