The costs for the project have been obtained. The total cost is 40,068 birr.

The total cost is 40,068 birr, from which Link Ethiopia will contribute 77% (30,978 birr) and the local community 23% (9,090 birr).
Project update
The basement for the new toilet bock has been constructed and completed. The building has been divided into six cubicles. Blocks have been assembled and the wall is nearly finished. Roofing is the next job to be done.
Project Completed
Staff and pupils at Arbatu Ensesa Elementary School have been celebrating the opening of the new toilet block. Their previous toilet facilities were showing their age, and were not sufficient for the hundreds of pupils on site. The new toilet block contains six cubicles for female pupils and two for staff, and the old toilet block is now being used by male pupils.
Toilets in use
The new toilet is now properly used.
